In today's world the Bible comes under constant attack. Some of it is based on ignorance and some on hatred, but what is the truth? This book provides an easy reading yet factual response for those people genuinely seeking to know more about the Bible. It takes a look at authorship, how it was written, and its history after the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. The book is written in a style that enables the reader to skip around if they want to do so.
There are chapters on early Christian movements which contributed much to our understanding and application of the Bible. While this book is not doctrinal in nature, the roots of Christian doctrine are easily seen. While written with the skeptic in mind, the book is also a great resource for Bible students and new Christians.

During his time there he had time to reflect on the preaching of God's Word he'd been hearing at First Baptist. On May 9th, he knelt beside his motel room's bed and asked Jesus into his heart. It was a life changing decision, both in this life and in eternity.* 1981 Left First Baptist and began attending Shalom Baptist Church under Pastor Dr. Harry E.
