William Riddle, at the age of thirteen, quickly earned the moniker of 'Dead Eye' in the War of 1812. Saving his regiment from an ambush by a long distance shot that killed an Indian chief and alerted the troops to their danger, he was instantly a hero. Rising to Lieutenant, Will retired from the army at war's end, but was soon to be serving as a special agent for Governor William Cass. A service that proved to be quite dangerous.
But it wasn't until he trusted Christ that he became an American hero. His faith would be tested and only God knew how strong a faith Will would need.
