Biographie de Yang Xiaoneng
Dr. Xiaoneng Yang, Patrick J. J. Maveety Curator of Asian Art at Stanford University's Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts, is internationally recognized as a leading scholar of Chinese art, archaeology, and history. Since the 1980s he has organized international exhibitions of Chinese art and archaeology of various periods and themes. Dr. Yang is the author of numerous publications, and he lectures extensively on topics ranging from archaeology to contemporary Chinese art.
His two-volume book, New Perspectives on China's Past: Chinese Archaeology in the Twentieth Century, was
a finalist for the College Art Association's Charles Rufus Morey Award.
