This showpiece by Adolf Schreiner (1847-1921) is perfectly suited as encore or even for children's concerts. In accordance with the composer's instructions, the performer gradually disassembles the instrument, beginning with the bell, until in the end he plays only on the barrel. Performed with a theatrical gesture, this humorous clarinet fantasia will not fail to have the desired effect on the audience.
