In a climactic scene Robert makes the ultimate demand of love, but is rejected. What future can he find out in the streets ? A Window : A young man takes great risks to help his traumatised, self-destructive mother.
Finally left alone, he meets his lost father in a startling confrontation. A Window addresses the timeless themes of classical drama by confronting the problems of the modern city. The Edge : On the edge of a new life, a young man encounters an elderly drunk lying in the street. What is he running from, and running towards ? His mother waits for him at bonne, and their fi-ont room becomes a thsatre where the universal drama of youth against age is acted out.
