Sections B through E investigate the links between the core capacities : action and cognition, perception and cognition, perception and action, and emotion and cognition.
These interactions are explored in different domains and reference theories, methods, and applications of performance research. Coverage includes measurement consideration in performance psychology, applications of performance psychology research in different domains, for different populations (e.g., older adults), and utilizing specific sensory organs (e.g., vision, hearing, etc.). The book also looks at the effects of pressure and stress on performance.
