Choral Music Experience

"On A Day When the Wind Is Perfect" is an uplifting affirmation of joy and beauty that the world affords every day to the eyes and heart that are opened to perceive and receive it. The poem and music describe the feeling of everything in life flowing with the ease of a boat propelled to glide effortlessly over the water by the wind that fills its sails. The work compares the human eyes and heart to the life giving sun, and the breeze that fills the sails of a boat to the inspiration that fills the soul, leading the body to ecstatic dancing and drumming.
Finally, it compares the opening of the sails by the wind to the opening of the heart by love, which is always available at every moment. Instrumentation : choir (SSA) and piano, percussion ad libitum
