Throughout the 26 regions of France, of which 22 are on the mainland, is to be found an astonishing variety of landscape and architecture. Here each of France's regions is the subject of a chapter consisting of a presentation text, and a selection of photographs. Together, they constitute a complete regional identity card. By way of introduction are detailed maps of France, and an illustrated calendar of events, along with valuable reference points. This visual panorama (more than 200 photographs) is intended for all those who wish to discover, or have others discover, France.
