Biographie d'Emmanuelle Dirix

Emmanuelle DIRIX is a cultural theorist who specializes in fashion studies. She has over 20 years of lecturing experience at institutions including Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion and the Royal College of Art, and has been leading historic and contextual studies at the Antwerp Fashion Academy since 2009. She has published widely on fashion in both academic and popular publications.
Her most recent book is Dressing the Decades (Yale University Press). In addition, she works as a freelance curator and fashion branding and communications consultant for the luxury industry. Recently she has joined the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College, as a senior teaching fellow.
