What is an accordion capable of ? This piece examines sounds that are barely audible, and the mechanical noise and transient phenomena of the accordion sound which - just as if looked at through a composer's microscope - develops a special charm. Performers and listeners are encouraged to let themselves in for unfamiliar sounds and rhythms. In addition, there are mysterious musical moments : time and again, the piece seems to end, only to surprisingly continue after a break. The composer was inspired by '... many walks on the beach.
