Fémin/in/visible - Women authors of the Enlightenment (Broché)

We need to explore the activities of women translators in the past with an awareness of our own preconceived ideas and agendas (...) and a heightened sensitivity to the complexities of gender as an analytical category. This means recognising that gender is just one of the categories which structures the literary field alongside others such as genre, social class, age and religious confession. Hilary Brown.
