Since the formation meeting in Passau in 1961, the choral festival 'Europa Cantat', which is held in a three-year cycle, has for the first time taken place in Germany, in the city of Mainz. A special choir-book has been compiled for the daily Open Singing events and additional European 'Choreley', containing almost 70 compositions and folk songs for mixed choir from almost all European countries in their original languages, from the Renaissance to the present day, as well as some popular titles and also new and less known arrangements of popular titles.
