Sing a New Song

Initially a contour variation (in minor key) of a well-known hymn setting, this descriptive motet-like anthem offers a wide range of contrasts, from early phrasal points of imitation, climactic aggressive motion on "earthquake, wind and fire, " to the subtle quietude of "still small voice of calm. " Instrumentation : mixed choir (SATB) a cappella
