Héliane Daziron-Ventura is Professor at the University of Orleans. Her publications focus on transmediality and transnationality in the contemporary short story in English. She is currently involved in research on the relationship between Alice Munro and James Hogg at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at Edinburgh. Marta Dvo ? ák is Professor of Canadian and Commonwealth Literatures at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, former Associate Editor of The International Journal of Canadian Studies, and Editor of Commonwealth Essays and Studies.
Her most recent books include Tropes and Territories : Short Fiction, Postcolonial Readings, and Canadian Writing in Context (co-ed. with W.H. New) and Crosstalk : Canadian and Global Imaginaries in Dialogue (co-ed. with Diana Brydon).
