White Balance For An Image

An imaging apparatus which has white balance control means comprising:1.1adjusting white balance based on -(1) the brightness of a photographed object, (2) distance to the photographed object, and(3) zoom level;1.2ascertaining an "object distance threshold" based on the (1) brightness of a photographed object and(3) zoom level; and, 1.3adjusting the amount of white balancing in accordance with a comparison of(2) distance to the photographed object and the "object distance threshold."
