SMOOTHING: The book has gone through a big edit and sweeping revision. BONUS OUTTAKES: For kicks, I've tossed in a selection of deleted scenes and previously-unpublished snippets and outtakes.
FLASHBACKS: Some of the chapter-opening flashbacks got moved to bonus outtakes. Others kept their role in the evolving story. WORD COUNT: The length itself didn't change much.
