Tween to Teen, Trials & Tribulations

This short story collections deals with students in eighth grade through high school and the first year of college. Topics include peer pressure, making new friends, learning to drive and going on adventures. Neurodivergent students Sylvia and Mark find their paths in their schools. Teen pregnancy is mentioned in the "Diaper Debacle" and in another story Chelsea deals with subtle racism and challenges herself to confront it.
Gifted and Talented students Elias and Molly learn differently also and find their places. Tom has to deal with extreme bullying in his new school. In another, suicde is briefly addressed wtih no graphic details. Finally, Millie finds a new friend volunteering at a local animal shelter. Suitable to ages 12+ and topics are relevant to middle and high school and beyond. A few mild swear words.
