The Repercussions of Decency. - The Rob Clark Trilogy, #1

The stories focus is on the aftermath caused when a decent hardworking family man does the only thing his conscience will allow in preventing a brutal attack on a teenage girl and by taking the law into his own hands and becoming judge, jury and executioner. The next 52 hours centres on the lives of a number of people caught up in the repercussions. From Police Officers to pet dogs all play a significant role as the man himself begins to question the very fabric of his own character as events conspire against him.
Other people who also have separate agendas attempt to twist and distort the facts for their own benefit.        Detective Sergeant Rob Clark has the task of trying  to unravel what seems like an open and shut case which brings him back into the life of a woman who he would done anything for before she married his best friend. Throughout there lies the thread of decent people trying to come to terms with drastic changes some forced upon them through no fault of there own and the strength they find inside to try to rise above them.
The story is set in and around Warrington in the North-West of England in the Autumn of 1980.
