The Recluse

Beauty meets Beast. In the seclusion of Maine's former logging glory, two writers collide. Jack, who's always been on the run, finds herself seeking refuge in the eerie and shadowed halls of the reclusive Gael Burke. Former soldier and criminal investigator turned novelist and hermit.  Gael, well-known for his prickly demeanor and withdrawn lifestyle, is unprepared for Jack. Jack is equally shocked by the challenge that is Gael.
Boundaries blur as they work and live together through winter, grappling with old hurts and new problems.
