The Invisible World

The Invisible World began as a conversation with a troubling and troublesome ancestor whose writings and speeches were influential in the early history of what would become the United States. What began as an attempt to resist patterns of thought that helped set this country on its terrible course became a series of love poems and elegies to a wild homeground and to other ancestors who embraced it.
These poems reach for a language and way of living with the wild world that celebrated being a part of our living planet rather than apart from it.
