In between those ribald massage sessions, Douglas' muse Nguyet and he begin a chaste role-play, however, in which the charming nympho pretends to be inexperienced and barely interested in sexual pleasure.
Thus challenged, Douglas is forced to be patient and woo her again, just like he had done so extensively before their affair had taken off. As varied as all the episodes are, they have one theme in common: Ultimately, they tell a captivating tale of liberation from rigid, confining moral norms.
