The Cautionary Heart 2: Blame

A mother's responsibility is to love her child unconditionally, even when controlling forces are out of her power. The diagnosis of mental illness can be devastating for any family, but Raven Harris embraced her son, Eric, and set up a plan for his life's journey. She convinced him to take his medication daily and work toward being a better version of himself. Raven ensured Eric was well-educated and able to climb the ladder of success.
Even when he stumbled and failed, along the way, she was there to pick up the pieces and to motivate him never to give up.  Finally, Eric could leave the nest and take charge of his destiny. Even though he was out of her sight, Raven constantly reminded him to stay on the plans that he had followed throughout his life. Sometimes, life will throw you many curveballs.
