The Black Headstone

It was a clear night in June of 2010 when Jeremy, 14, Evelyn, 15, and Daniel, 14, ventured out into the darkness. The crescent moon glowed a faint silver hue in the sky, barely providing enough light to see the homes they had left behind. With courage and fear, they took the winding path that led them deeper into the forest towards an old, abandoned house on the side of a road.
