When Max was brought in by the local police chief to help solve a kidnapping of a local doctor and his wife, Max didn't realize that he would be meeting his future. Samantha Jackson was the ex-wife of a mob boss from Topeka. She ran away with her son and went into hiding. Not only does she loose her husband, her son gets sick and dies. Her husband kidnapped the doctor and his wife that had treated his son.
