Rachel

Dallas oversees customer service for Universal Robots and Synthetics. He is returning from a ten-day vacation where there was no contact with the outside world, so he is unaware that one of the company's domestic helpers attacked its owner. They are calling it Rachel. His job is to retrieve the unit so it can be studied and fixed and keep the customer happy. He finds that Rachel has exceeded her original programming; now, he must determine if she is alive.
