Liar's Promise

The year is 2037, the planet edges toward chaos. Extreme weather, drought, food scarcity, the accelerating pace of climate change, and diminishing resources take its toll. An attack on the Japanese imperial motorcade invokes an ancient directive, ignites a civil war as the head of the disgraced imperial guard seals off Tokyo, and plunges into ceaseless reprisal.
