Although he liked to point out to visitors that he got all of the channels-over thirty-five of them-Kapinsky had never really thought about Channel 1 until the night when his cat, Eyesore, jumped up on the cable box on top of the TV set and changed the channel.. Kapinsky reached for the remote-control and was about to change the channel back to where it had been, when a picture abruptly appeared. A man who was apparently a talk show host sat behind a desk.
"Do you want to know the truth?" the man asked, smiling humorlessly...
