Biographie de Kyczy Hawk

Kyczy Hawk is the author of "Yoga and the Twelve Step Path'', and "Yogic Tools for Recovery; A Guide To Working The Steps" along with its companion workbook; all three were published by Central Recovery Press. Self-published are a book of essays; "Life in Bite-Sized Morsels" and a fiction book for tweens "The Hollow Web". She has also created and published five WORD PUZZLE books (searches and jumbles) that use positive words and quotes from both yoga philosophy and recovery designed to keep the mind focused on the healthy and the healing. Kyczy Hawk has been in active recovery for over 36 years and has been a yoga teacher to those in recovery for more than fifteen years.
She created training to help yoga teachers who are taking yoga to people in recovery centers and institutions; Success Over Addiction and Relapse, S. O. A. R.T. This training is available at Yoga Recovery.com. These practices include attention to the somatic and healing practices of yoga led with trauma sensitivity and self-care. Kyczy teaches private and public yoga and meditation classes, most currently for the County of Santa Clara.
These include breath work, meditation, yoga, and the occasional workshop on resilience practices.   Her other focus is working with private clients to help them in their yoga practice and releasing long-held negative energies due to past experiences.  Kyczy is very proud of her family; husband, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, all of who amaze her in unique and wonderful ways.
