When her daughter is unexpectedly banned from an upcoming school filed trip, Fang Lin decides to take the issue directly to the child's teacher, Nisha Patel. During the discussion tempers flare and, with neither woman willing to back down, the situation escalates quickly, the fire fueled by  a good deal of personal dislike and inherent ethnic tension. Ultimately, a challenge is issued - and readily accepted.
