Existence is Futile

Existence is Futile is a collection of four short stories focusing on difficult adulthood moments from different characters' lives. In the family drama "Future and Happiness, " Jeremy is a young adult sinking under the weight of debt and depression. The value of his grandma's ring might be a solution, but there's potentially a hidden cost. "Four AM" is a slice-of-life micro-story showing a moment when someone wakes up too early.  The tone resembles the Japanese concept of "Ma, " which refers to intentional emptiness or negative space. The slice-of-life drama "Icarus" gives readers a glimpse into someone's internal narrative as they watch their peer fly while they flounder. "She Was Done, He Wouldn't Leave" is a psychological drama about Sù Lì, who thought the nightmare was over when her husband died in an accident.
But the post-traumatic stress still haunts her, asking how she can survive without him.
