Having suffered the trauma of their daughter being kidnapped, Sue and Alan Baylock's lives are returning to normal after Ruth had been found alive and well. But Sue is starting to behave strangely. She seems to suffer blackouts which result in her visiting Bishopsgate and insisting that her name is Michelle. Is she having some sort of breakdown due to recent events and Ruth's kidnapping, or is there something more sinister behind her bizarre change of personality?  Is there any connection between what happened to Sue over 30 years ago and the recent spate of child abductions being reported in the news?
