When I was about ten years old I attended a church during Easter. What normally happens in African Black Churches during Easter is that everyone who never ever got an opportunity to preach in church will be granted that during these night services. In one of these occasions, a man, a well-known Teacher who also was known to always be swimming in liquor stood up to preach. He was as always, intoxicated but never the less no one stopped him except that one could see the tension written on the faces of all that was called an adult in the church.
He was using Setswana and Afrikaans languages to explain himself and I am going to write exactly his words and translate into English. He said: "Ke eme fa, go bua selo se le sengwe hela. Ek staan hier om net een ding te se. Julle sien, God soek nie kak nie, Modimo ga a batle masepa. Fa o tletse masepa, as jy vol kak is, God sal jou bliksim. Modimo o tla go bleksema. O tla nyela buti, jy sal kak". Translated he said: I'm here to tell you one thing.
God does not want shit. If you are full of shit. God will beat the hell out of you. You will shit yourself". You can imagine what happened in church at the time. The truth is, using common sense no one in my life has ever summed up the Bible with such a few but bold words. God does not tolerate non sense and so is NatureAbout the AuthorMohlouwa Sease was born on the farm Dankbaar, Petrusburg district in the Free State province.
He is the 11th child of 13, and was schooled at Petrusburg, Qwaqwa and Bloemfontein. He then did a two year teaching stunt in Koffiefontein and thereafter started a career in mining as a Cleaner. Later Mohlouwa joined the Environmental Engineering Section. He has worked at mines and Government as an Inspector. Mohlouwa loves nature and was taught by his late Mother to study people and life. A friend encouraged him to write and his late wife supported it saying it will make the reader see him for who he is, a secret his Mother told her about Mohlouwa she kept till she passed on.
He is not intending to ask them when he joins them. It's their secret anyway and he respects that.
