Before Brightside: Mandy

In the first of a series of short stories leading up to Brightside, the protagonist, a teenage Joe Nolan, finds himself in a compromising position. Readers learn that from a young age, people in the telepath's life often assume they know just what he wants, when all along it's he who understands their most personal thoughts and desires. This story is intended for a mature audience.
