An Improbable Story

A Sherlock Holmes parody set in a sci-fi future. Short story. When the portable doomsday device is stolen from an impenetrable vault, Sherlock Holmes and Watson must use impossible technologies to recover it. In a story where all the probabilities have been ruled out, only the impossible (and the weird) remain.
