Greg, a sarcastic yet serious high school student, goes to the carnival being held at his school with his friends. When Greg is separated from them, he goes into one of the tents for psychic readings. To his surprise, it's the class clown guy, Taylor, who's always cracking a joke and is a little too bubbly that is running the tent. As Taylor's reading Greg's palm, he tells him he's going to meet someone soon, and it's going to change his life.
Greg just laughs and tells him the chances of him meeting a girl is zero and Taylor tells him it might not be a girl. Greg doesn't know why this bothers him so much, but as he and Greg start talking, they get along instantly. From then on they start hanging out at school and soon Greg starts feeling something he's never felt before. But Greg and Taylor are straight and there can't possibly be something between them.
