Christine Cerletti (b. 1950) switched to applied psychology after studying singing with Margherita Perras in Zurich M1979. After graduation she worked as a vocational counselor until 1985. In 1986 she resumed her vocal training in Vienna and New York with Peter K. Elkus and received her SMPV teaching diploma in singing in 1993, subsequently working as a vocal pedagogue for fifteen years. Since 1985 Cerletti has regularly appeared in concerts in Switzerland and beyond, with her repertoire concentrating on lieder and oratorios.
Since 2003 she has organized musical soirées in private settings, performing with her own recitals and inviting guest soloists. In 1993 she also took up painting and drawing ; she creates portraits in pastel chalk, as well as landscape and nature studies executed in various techniques. Christine Cerletti is a patroness and the founder and chairwoman of four foundations in Basel, one of which devotes itself to social issues while the other three are active in the fields of culture and music.
Thomas Voigt (b. 1960) is a writer, filmmaker, presenter and vocal coach. Between 1992 and 1996 he edited the magazine Opernuelq and from 1998 to 2003 he was editor-in-chief of the classical music magazine Fono Forum. Asa writer he has mainly made a name for himself with interview-based biographies (Martha Mödl, Inge Borkh, Edda Moser, and Jonas Kaufmann) and TV documentaries (about Fritz Wunderlich, Lisa Della Casa, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Robert Stolz, Jonas Kaufmann, Birgit Nilsson, and many others).
Since 2010he has also advised Jonas Kaufmann as his media manager. For his work as a writer he was honored with the Gottlob Frick Medal, and his feature Prima ía Donna was nominated for the ARD Audio Drama Prize. Voigt has lived in Cologne since 1993.
