My Hand to Hold

Smriti is an award-winning, internationally bestselling British author whose books for children include I LOVE YOU NIGHT AND DAY (Publisher's Weekly #1 bestseller, Wall Street Journal bestseller), THE WAYS OF THE WOLF (English Association Non-Fiction Winner) and I'M STICKING WITH YOU (shortlisted for the British Book Awards). Her books have been published in more than thirty languages around the world.
Previously, Smriti worked at the BBC and in children's publishing and television as a writer and editor. She lives in London with her three sons. Alison Friend's warm and whimsical artwork has appeared in both picture books and fiction. She studied Fine Art at university, and worked as a stonemason and greetings card illustrator before turning her hand to children's book illustration. Alison lives in the beautiful English Lake District with her husband Mike, her son Cal and Border Collie, Blue.
In her spare time she enjoys drawing people's dogs, walking Blue in the fells, and falling asleep during really good films.
