Sweet Dark Memories

He grew up on Lagos island, passed the West African School Certificate examination, and left the country two years after the Civil War. Two decades later, he visited Lagos on vacation to find a booming mega city where he encountered the next generation of proactive Nigerians, self-empowerment events, and an old-school friend who narrated his experience in the Biafran Army. While walking through the streets, he recalled memories of his childhood activities, which gave him a pleasant feeling of homecoming.
