Biographie de Luci Yamamoto
Luci Yamamoto is a fourth-generation native of Hawaii, thus she's not fazed by rain, pidgin or Hawaiian street names. After growing up in Hilo on the Big Island, she left for college in Los Angeles with a simmering case of rock fever. She then moved to Berkeley for law school and spent two summers working in Honolulu, contemplating practicing land-use law while dreaming about a Plan B escape. She ended up joining the California Bar before finally switching careers to pursue writing.
Her past work for Lonely Planet includes Hawaii 7 and Hawaii : the Big Island 2. Today she is a freelance writer in Vancouver, British Columbia -and she jumps at any chance to return to her native islands.
