Texas Fossils of the North Sulphur River

The North Sulphur River in Fannin County Texas is rich with Cretaceous marine fossils.  It is known by collectors to be one of the best places in Texas to hunt for fossils. These photos document my own personal finds and exemplify the types of fossils that you can expect to find at the North Sulphur River and surrounding tributaries in Fannin County Texas.
