He could visualize himself drawing his weapon, bracing it at his hip, and firing directly into the men who were beating the life out of him. #3 The day ended with Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick dying from an unknown cause. Seditious words had led to the incitement of insurrection against the American state. Now that the election had been stolen from Trump, he would have to fight to retain his presidency by any means necessary. #4 On November 3, 2020, Joe Biden was elected president, ending the Trump presidency.
However, Trump's die-hard base of 40 percent of the electorate thought they should give him another four years to carry out his promises to make America great again.
