Romance with Variations

When, on a whim, lawyer Robert Krief responds to a misdirected party invitation, he has no idea that his curiosity will result in his meeting the pianist Anna Fischer. Robert's passion for music, and his special interest in the music of Robert Schumann, make him particularly vulnerable to the beautiful Anna who specializes in performing Schumann's solo piano music. But why is Anna so obsessively private and wary of relationships? In trying to find out, Robert unduly complicates his life and nearly destroys his career.
