Renee Le Noireau is adrift in her quest to find her true place within her enigmatic family. Estranged from her own kin due to her connection with the elusive Bouisguard family, she finds herself bereft of her rightful share of the Le Noireau fortune. The actions of Louis's parents have forever altered her destiny, leaving her severed from her mother's wealth and her newfound father's estate.
As she grapples with this stark reality, readers will wonder: What path will Renee carve for herself in this turbulent world?Meanwhile, Rhys Le Noireau, has returned to the ancestral Chateau perched majestically on the hills that overlook Scotland Bay. With his wife Annalise, their cherubic infant, his mother Astral, and his father by his side, he appears to have embraced the life that Jean Claude, his great-grandfather, had envisioned.
Yet, a profound emptiness gnaws at his soul. The family table feels incomplete without his sister, her absence an agonizing void that lingers. In this emotionally charged narrative, readers will be gripped by the burning question: Can Rhys bridge the chasm that separates him from his sister and heal the rift that threatens to tear their family apart?

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Cecly Ann Mitchell

Most days I wear several hats. Author, Wordsmith, Writing Coach, Editor, Public Sector Communications Consultant, and Workshop Facilitator. In my world of Caribbean Historical fiction, readers meet long-forgotten island people, who lived through events remembered in the whispered recollections of living historians or between the pages of tomes in dusty archives and long-abandoned places. My non-fiction work marries my passion for Public Sector Communications and the craft of writing Commercial fiction while resident in the Caribbean. The most important thing you need to know about me, I'm not human until I've had my first cup of homegrown coffee.
