À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Tom Garz

I write because this is something I can do.  I wrote as a boy because I stuttered so badly I couldn't even say my own name.  Through time, writing has served me well in my life and career.  I worked as a Technical Writer for some time.  Later, as an Engineer, I wrote up a "Theory of Operation" from which multiple machines were built.  I had an "Ideas for Products or Services Newsletter" for a short time.  I started Blogging in 2003 and now have several Blogs. Shortly before the Pandemic, I decided to write books since I couldn't find a job that fit me in "retirement".  Now I'm quite content that writing gives me a sense of purpose, leaves a legacy, and gives me a voice of what's inside of me.  For many years, I have privately journaled.  Now in my books, I "publicly journal" to help myself and others.  Most of my current books are for those who are hurting in some way.  My books, so far, do indeed reflect me and my history.  I've been around sickness all my life - either my own or with family members.  Perhaps my books might help people "get better and stay better".  I try to provide encouragement, hope, and maybe some ideas on how to think or act better - never medical advice, just information. I hope my Guided Journals give people a way to "sort themselves out", like I do.  My first and favorite book is Paging Dr.
Within.  Sometimes I write technically and sometimes I write from my heart.  The greatest challenge in me writing is actually doing it.  Writing was easier during the Pandemic when there was nothing much else to do.  Writing helped preserve my sanity during the Pandemic, though some might say differently.  :-)
