ANNE GASTON may as well have been born with a writing implement in her hand. Her mom is probably very glad that was- in fact- not the case. Her first (remembered) foray into fiction was in 4th grade when she wrote a story about a group of orcas and dolphins in boy/girl pairs who were trying to figure out who was wreaking havoc in the local ecosystem. It combined her love of romance, adventure, suspense, and marine biology because she was convinced she'd grow up to train killer whales at Sea World.
With an imagination that is often too vivid (and explicit) for public consumption and a love of good- and especially, bad- puns, Anne thrills in amusements great and small. At any given moment, she may break into geeky references to animated shows from the 90s or cult favorites like Boondock Saints, Firefly, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Sailor Moon.
