Cleo's Super Ear

A book written for all the little ones that have a bit of magic in their ears. Cleo embarks on a journey of self-acceptance and self-love, as her twinkling super ear guides her through an enchanted forest. My daughter, Cleo, was born with sensorineural hearing loss in her right ear. We had many questions and emotions during its initial discovery - my mama heart ached at the perceived reduction in quality of a life that I had imagined for her.
I wrote this book as we found our footing in a wonderful hearing support community. It's become more clear to me that with natural adaptability and resilience, kids like Cleo will thrive. I wrote this book about her, in hopes that in breathing this story to life, she and other little ones with Super Ears are instilled with celebration, confidence, and self-acceptance.
