A fast moving dark fantasy, rich in mythology with religious undertones.  Mianda's life changed forever when she was six. Born in the Congo in 524, she was used to danger: wild animals, killer insects, consuming fire, winter famine, witches, evil spirits. Nothing compared to the night her mother killed a lion who attacked them while they slept.
