Dan Jaffé enseigne l'histoire des religions à l'université Bar-Ilan près de Tel-Aviv. Il est chercheur associé au Centre Paul-Albert-Février d'Aix-en-Provence (CNRS) et dirige la collection « Judaïsme ancien et christianisme primitif » aux Éditions du Cerf.
